Abilities and Permissions
Coil is a vampire-hunter and necromancer, so he comes stocked with some abilities and prejudices that other folks should be made aware of. I try to ask before his powers are used or if I see that he might react badly to another character, but if you would like to let me know ahead of time what Coil might pick up from your character, or you would like to discuss or pre-approve the use of his abilities, reply here.
Coil's Abilities
Clearsight: Born as a Clearsight, he has the innate ability to "see" magic. As long as he's paying attention, he can pick out magical beings in a crowd, see through magical illusions, see through magical darkness, know when magic is being used, etc. It does not give him any special immunity/defense to magic, just the ability to detect it. He also sees well in the dark. And while Clearsights are resistant or immune to things meant to trick the eye, they are more susceptible to bright or explosive things that are meant to blind (such as flashbangs and magical daylight).
Necromancy: Being trained in the art of necromancy, Coil can raise and control the dead, craft undead constructs, cause corrosion/oxidation/deterioration in almost any non-magical material, can burn/damage living or dead creatures, etc. Most of his spells require reagents and prep time, often with drawn circles/sigils to trigger it, though some low-level spells can be triggered with a touch. High level touch-range spells can be cast under extreme duress, though this isn't always reliable. He can also sense the presence of the undead. He must keep up regular prayer/ritual habits for any of this to work. Finally, his affinity with undeath means that healing abilities are less effective on him, and holy magic has the additional potential to make him sick, weaken him, or possibly even harm him.
Combat Training: Skilled in hand-to-hand and quarterstaff combat. Deadly with a garrote wire. Pretty darn stealthy and acrobatic. Basically trained to be lethal when unnarmed or using non-bladed and non-firearm type weapons.
Coil's Prejudices
Though he no longer attacks on sight like he used to, Coil is still extremely wary of anything that pings him as being undead, and is likely to react especially badly to those he learns are vampiric. So, be prepared for at least some initial negative CR if your character is undead. Those who wield energy/magic that is opposite to his own (usually holy magic, depending on the canon) tend to grate against him or can even injure him with their magic. He is human and living, but he does carry a lot of latent unholy magic in him, as well as a small piece of a necromantic god that has combined itself with him, so sometimes magic that hurts unholy or undead things can hurt him as well. So, running into holy beings or clerics often puts him on the defense.
Opt-in, Opt-out
If you would like to give a blanket statement about allowing Coil's use of his powers on your character, please reply below with details on that. It is especially helpful if you let me know exactly what sorts of things you'll allow without additional permission, and what things I should seek you out for. Also, if you would like to opt-out of certain powers, or would like my awful boy to avoid yours completely, please let me know.

Vianca is a Pikmin! Her last dw game got her the ability to have a person shape, so that might ping on the magic radar a bit.
I'm pretty down for whatever might come up!

If anything comes up I'm very much up for it!

Honerva likely would immediately ping him as being a magic user and possibly for being a magical being, given she's also immortal but not technically in the undead way? It's complicated. She also has a dark entity within her/tied to her, not necessarily classed as anything specific, thanks canon, but more dormant thanks to IC efforts. In any case, that exists.
She's also sensitive to magical energy herself, if you are okay with any of his traits being picked up on in some way.
As an extra note, she and Lup are very close.

Coil might be able to sense some magical-ness in her if he's paying attention, but probably won't notice much until she actually uses magical abilities. It's kind of hit or miss whether he senses other magic users off the bat, so it could really go either way.
As far as her sensing things in him, go for it. His magic aura usually feels generally awful to those who can sense it, as his world's necromancy is pretty darn corrupted/unnatural and not death-aligned in a balanced sense. He also has a piece of a necromantic "demigod" that he absorbed and became a part of him, and that sometimes gets sensed by people who can pick up that sort of thing, even more so than his being a magic-user. Even though it's a tiny piece, it tends to stand out more.

That's good to know! Really the more evident thing is that occasionally she'll move or lift items with it or things of that variety.
And that's very interesting! She would pick up on that, or even scry for more info if it seems strange, whether or not she tells him. Probably depends a lot on how things end up going or what happens with the rest of the house.

Oh yeah, he'd notice when she'd use it to move things definitely. It's harder to "see" when it's just a latent ability to do something that isn't being used in that moment. Sometimes he'll see the aura of someone who is a really powerful magic user just because they're so full of magical energy, but it's usually only when something is made of magic or is using magic that he picks it up.
And yeah, haha... there's at least a pretty good chance that he won't actually be staying in the house, but we're still in the middle of playing out how that's going. Either way, if she does do some scrying and you ever need extra info or whatever for that, hit me up.
